Cinema HD on Roku – Install Cinema APK on Roku

Cinema HD is not only available for Firestick and other Android users. You can use Cinema HD on Roku as well. It doesn’t matter if you have a Roku stick or a Roku box, or even a full-fledged Roku TV, you can easily stream movies and TV shows from this app to your Roku device.

Roku’s official channel store does offer a bunch of different apps to stream movies and TV shows online, but if you are a fan of Cinema HD, then we’ve got you covered. This simple guide will show you how you can stream Cinema HD on Roku within minutes.

It’s important to note that Roku does not support APK files. APK files are for Android devices, and Roku uses its own Operating System which is NOT Android. So, in order to use this app (which is an Android APK), we need to use a workaround.

Don’t worry! It’s extremely simple. All you have to do is download an app, and you’ll be set.

Which Roku device works with Cinema HD?

There are three different types of Roku devices out there in the market and all of these devices are completely compatible with Cinema HD as long as you follow the method described below.

Roku Box ($39) – This is a compact box that connects directly to your TV or Home theatre via HDMI cable (pretty similar to a Blu-Ray player or a Console but smaller).

Roku Streaming Stick ($49) – This is a portable device similar to a USB flash drive that plugs right into HDMI port of your TV.

Roku TV (from $129) – This is an all-in-one solution that does not require you to connect any box or stick to your TV. Roku TV is a unique OS that comes loaded on your TV. The TV connects to the internet via Ethernet or Wifi. Popular brands that offer Roku TV are Hisense, Insignia, Hitachi, Sharp, and TCL. Roku TVs also come in different sizes and different resolutions like 720, 1080, 2K, and 4K.

Requirements

Here are the things you will need to use this app on your Roku device.

  • Android phone/tablet.
  • Any Roku device (obviously)
  • WiFi

That’s all you need. So, let’s get started.

CAUTION - YOUR ONLINE STREAMING ACTIVITY IS BEING LOGGED

Just Stream does not verify the security or legality of any apps, add-ons, and services covered on this Website.

Your ISP, Government, app developers, hackers, and other malicious parties can track your online activity through your unprotected IP Address.

There is a way to BEAT them!

A high-quality, secure VPN will prevent EVERYONE from logging your online activity.

A VPN will encrypt your connection to the Internet and hide your IP address so you remain 100% anonymous when streaming or browsing.

We recommend SurfsharkVPN because they offer the fastest speeds for online streaming and zero-log policy for only $2.49/month.

Best of all, you can use SurfsharkVPN on Unlimited Devices simultaneously!

How to put Cinema HD on Roku

We are going to cast Cinema HD from your phone to the Roku. For this reason, we need an app that supports screen mirroring/casting.

Install All Screen Receiver on Roku

1. Visit the official Roku channel store and search All Screen Receiver.

2. Install the app on your Roku by selecting +Add Channel.

3. All Screen Receiver is now added to your Roku device.

This app is going to receive the movie or TV show from Cinema APK and stream it on the Roku device.

Note: This app needs to be open on Roku while streaming.

Install All Screen on your Android Phone/Tablet

1. Head over to the Google Play Store.

2. Search All Screen.

3. Install the app that says All Screen (Chromecast, DLNA, Roku).

4. Once the app is installed. Close Google Play Store and return to your Android phone’s home screen.

Now, it’s time to stream Cinema HD on Roku

Play Cinema HD APK on Roku

1. If you haven’t already installed the Cinema APK on your Android phone, then go ahead and install it from the official website.

2. Once the app is downloaded, install it on your mobile device.

3. Open the Cinema HD app and Play anything that you want. When you tap the media, you want to stream, select “Open with” and choose All Screen as the media player.

Now, All Screen Receiver on your Roku will receive the stream and play it on your TV through Roku.

Pro TipBoth your phone and your Roku need to be connected to the same WiFi network to be able to use Cinema HD on Roku. For lag-free streaming, use a Dual-band router.

Is Cinema HD for Roku better?

To be fair, we don’t think that it’s very efficient to use Cinema HD on a Roku because you are using both your Android phone and your Roku at the same time. It’s better to stream your Phone’s screen to your TV directly (if your TV supports it).

We also think that Cinema HD on Firestick is a much better alternative to Roku and provides a better experience since Firestick supports Cinema HD natively. But, if you are a Roku fan, then hopefully, this method will give you the ability to use this exciting app without any issues.

Final Words

This is the easiest method to watch Cinema HD on Roku. However, we know there are a bunch of other techniques available as well, which pretty much use the same technology. So, if you are using any other method to stream Cinema HD on Roku then share it with us in the comments below.

Also, if you run into any problems, then comment below, and we’ll help you out as soon as possible.
